Deasy has more than six years of professional fitness experience as a gym manager and more than 6,000 hours spent coaching under his belt, as well as his CrossFit Level 3 certification. Deasy puts this experience to work each and every day as he helps members of all fitness levels set and achieve their fitness and nutrition goals, whether it be refining their movements, changing movements or nutrition habits, or preparing for an upcoming competition.
In addition to having a professional background in fitness, Deasy has been an avid gym-goer and has had a longtime interest in health and fitness. While knowing that he wanted to pursue a career in helping people get and stay healthy, Deasy realized as a gym member that everyone’s needs and fitness goals differ and that all exercises are simply tools designed to help them get to where they want to be. Over time, Deasy began to learn more about how to implement tools to best serve his members, which includes HIIT, strength training, flexibility and mobility assessments, imbalance correction and endurance training, to name just a few aspects.
Deasy’s experience as a member of a gym, a gym manager and now as an owner gives him a unique viewpoint into all perspectives, which he integrates together to form a facility that is not just a “gym.” Deasy understands the motivational factors and mindset barriers that can get in the way of one achieving their goal and constantly strives to break down those obstacles for his clients.
Growing up, Deasy participated in competitive soccer throughout middle and high school and was always physically active from a young age in some way, shape or form, including practicing karate around the house or attending the local gym with his mom before school.
Deasy graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Affairs. Deasy grew up in Tallahassee, Florida, and lives with his longtime girlfriend, Kelsey, and two dogs, Nico and Copper.
