Patrick Deasy, CF-L3, Owner & Coach
As owner and coach, Patrick Deasy handles the day-to-day management of the gym, overseeing each client from Day One and throughout their time at Active Movement, as well as coaches members in
Deasy has more than six years of professional fitness experience as a gym manager and more than 6,000 hours spent coaching under his belt, as well as his CrossFit Level 3 certification. Deasy puts this experience to work each and every day as he helps members of all fitness levels set and achieve their fitness and nutrition goals, whether it be refining their movements, changing movements or nutrition habits, or preparing for an upcoming competition.
In addition to having a professional background in fitness, Deasy has been an avid gym-goer and has had a longtime interest in health and fitness. While knowing that he wanted to pursue a career in helping people get and stay healthy, Deasy realized as a gym member that everyone’s needs and fitness goals differ and that all exercises are simply tools designed to help them get to where they want to be. Over time, Deasy began to learn more about how to implement tools to best serve his members, which includes HIIT, strength training, flexibility and mobility assessments, imbalance correction and endurance training, to name just a few aspects.
Deasy’s experience as a member of a gym, a gym manager and now as an owner gives him a unique viewpoint into all perspectives, which he integrates together to form a facility that is not just a “gym.” Deasy understands the motivational factors and mindset barriers that can get in the way of one achieving their goal and constantly strives to break down those obstacles for his clients.
Growing up, Deasy participated in competitive soccer throughout middle and high school and was always physically active from a young age in some way, shape or form, including practicing karate around the house or attending the local gym with his mom before school.
Deasy graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Affairs. Deasy grew up in Tallahassee, Florida, and lives with his longtime girlfriend, Kelsey, and two dogs, Nico and Copper.
Jonathon Humberstone, CF-L2, Owner & Coach
Jonathon Humberstone is an owner and coach at Active Movement. In this position, Humberstone is instrumental in the daily management of the facility and its members. He also plays a key role in the day-to-day group class and personal coaching, working closely with members to identify and achieve their health and fitness goals.
Humberstone is driven by helping others, which seamlessly translates to his role at Active Movement, where he strives to help members reach goals that are believed to be unattainable. This drive motivates Humberstone each and every day to go above and beyond for the members at Active Movement, working diligently to deliver successes for members. Humberstone understands that these successes are not just limited to fitness capabilities and ambitions, and can include breaking down health, nutrition and

Humberstone graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Growing up in Stuart, Humberstone now resides in Tallahassee with his wife, Ashley, son, Maverick, and Labradoodle, Charlie.
Darien Gallian, CF-L1, Coach
Darien Gallian is a coach at Active Movement, were she uses her unique experiences, broad skill set and adaptive mindset to build positive member-coach relationships and coach members of all fitness levels. She strives to find and help others find their “a-ha” moment, and understands the mental, emotional and physical struggles that come with breaking down barriers to growth. Gallian also has her CrossFit Level 1 certification.
Gallian is a longtime competitive athlete. She grew up competing in multiple sports, including volleyball, equestrianism and soccer. She’s been a CrossFit athlete for six years and actively competes. In 2018, Gallian participated in multiple competitions, taking first place in the Bacon Beatdown intermediate team division, the BoxLife Games Rx team division and Battle for the Brave Rx team division. Gallian believes that competition, whether with others or just challenging yourself, provides opportunities to grow personally and within a community.
At Active Movement, Gallian hopes to apply what she’s learned to help members succeed. Some of her specific goals are helping clients improve their quality of movement, breathe more effectively, and develop the mental tenacity needed to reach their personal health and fitness goals. While being “fit” will mean different things to different people, Gallian sees fitness as the path toward being more able humans. Her goal at Active Movement is to enable members to do more of the activities that bring meaning to their lives, inside and outside of the gym.
Gallian earned her Master of Science in Foreign and Second Language Education from Florida State University’s School of Teacher Education. She has accumulated nearly 10 years of teaching and tutoring learners of all ages in a variety of settings – from traditional U.S. classrooms, to migrant farm workers and children, to indigenous learners in the Amazon Basin. She’s also been teaching yoga for more than 10 years. Born and raised in Tallahassee, she resides now here with her husband, Levi; son, Rafael; and cats, Rember, Pablo and Yma.
Bobby Duggleby, CF-L1, Coach & Yoga Instructor
Bobby Duggleby is a coach and yoga instructor for Active Movement, leading classes for members of all levels of experience. As a 200-hour Certified Yoga Teacher and an avid yogi for more than a decade, Duggleby shares the practice of yoga and his wealth of knowledge with the Active Movement community, helping individuals achieve their fitness goals by integrating yoga into their routines.
Aside from yoga, Duggleby enjoys running, swimming and CrossFit. He is an advisor at Florida State University and takes any opportunity to travel the world. Duggleby resides in Tallahassee with his husband, Ryan, and dog, Laszlo.
